I have a few concerns
there appear to be quite a few balls on the ground around the machine. There doesn't appear to be much in the way of fail safes. And the machine appears to be under utilised in sections.

A sign of folly-genius is that it
carefully sorts them into footballs and basketballs, and then just shoves them all into a big hopper afterwards.

A full-sized version of this should be the opening ceremony of the Olympics
and feature flaming balls lighting the olympic flame.

My fave part is the bit that separates them by colour
then immediately mixes them back together again.

That is utter genius! I felt proud when I built my first pneumatic set and the helicopter with gyro control on the joystick. I reckon I'd be utterly baffled if I had to assemble this from instructions.

I'd love to see this done with Roses/Quality Street and have it sort them into all of the different types.
