This is a normal post I just watched Rare Exports with some friends
Great film, but the subtitles weren't working for some reason, and the whole film's in Finnish (except for about 10 lines in English) so we were pretty confused for most of it. Worth a watch (but try and find subtitles).

he's not seen this clip before and i told him that he must actively do something and take responsibility in whatever way he can to change the way these things are reported.

his comments on this clip included saying that this is exactly why they don't report suicide unless it's of major importance (my friend is the guy that broke the Dr Kelly suicide story(WMD 15 mins guy)..

.. he says that he thinks that the reporting of these events has to be changed but the problem is that its such a huge story it has to be reported in some form.

i put it to him that he should at least follow the steps recommended by Dr Park deitz.. ie don't open the reporting with sirens.. don't show photos of the guy that did it.. don't lead with body count. etc etc..

he said that he's going to research what Dr Park deitz says and would like to interview him..

i'm going to keep pestering him about this
