Truth be told, I've heard more covers of Radiohead tracks than I have Radiohead tracks.
I think that's for the best, but mostly because anyone who gurns as much as Thom Yorke is probably a pretentious wanker of the third order.

This is why Radiohead kind of don't like Creep so much.
It's trite and formulaic, and nothing much like the rest of their stuff.

It's certainly formulaic,
but I wouldn't go so far as to call it trite. It is ultimately an excellent example of it's form, even if that form is unoriginal.
I got the feeling that Radiohead's distaste was more because of the overblown hype it got, at the expense of their other more interesting work, at a time when they were working hard to be not just another carbon copy indie band.
