Truth be told, I've heard more covers of Radiohead tracks than I have Radiohead tracks.
I think that's for the best, but mostly because anyone who gurns as much as Thom Yorke is probably a pretentious wanker of the third order.

but I wouldn't go so far as to call it trite. It is ultimately an excellent example of it's form, even if that form is unoriginal.
I got the feeling that Radiohead's distaste was more because of the overblown hype it got, at the expense of their other more interesting work, at a time when they were working hard to be not just another carbon copy indie band.
