Looks like he was racing the white car through a clearly red light.
As a 58 year old father of three doing 6000 miles a year of London commuting on a VFR800, I highly recommend you get back on a bike ASAP!!!

You could be right
My GSXR's starter motor went, couldn't afford to get it fixed, got driving lessons for my wife's car when she was pregnant, drove her car through winter, bike lay dormant. Until the lock down I then drove my daughter to my mum's on the way to my new job which I'd never manage in winter on a bike anyway because it would be treacherous. Rode for 12 years all weather before that though. You don't know cold until you've driven from Bournemouth to Newbury on the B roads in freezing weather on a 125! I'll get another one one day!

Going through red lights at high speed whilst trying to undertake another car that almost certainly obstructed his view of the van (think about the timings and where the white car would be going)is an act of madness.
I see many motorcyclists on the road and in hospital; a few get knocked off driving defensively, huge numbers get knocked off without thinking about what other road users are doing.
In the UK, on average every rider will suffer one major accident breaking a bone or worse. Luckily some idiot on his fourth or fifth skews the average in my favour!
Don't ride as if the driver hasn't seen you, drive as if he has seen you and wants to kill you anyway.

I had a friend who worked in A&E. She rode a bike too, but she referred to people who rode like that as organ donors, because as soon as she got to work she'd be having to try and put what was left of them together again.

they did a great job timing the debris, not crossing paths and so on. The only thing that looks unusual is the reflection on the bonnet, but not enough to make me shout fake.
But I have watched too much Captaing Disillusion to not watch it a dozen times.
