AFAIK there are chopsticks that you eat with and larger ones that you use for serving with.

I failed miserably as well.
Thicker chopsticks may improve the outcome.
I think it's all about finding the right heat level to pour the egg.
Just like yours, mine started frying too fast around the edge.
It looked so easy in the vid...
