There is a company that secretly takes continuous, rapid, high-resolution aerial photos of cities to help police “rewind” time to view a crime as it happens and then to “fast-forward” the movement of suspects to their present locations.
An interesting 2 minute read, not sure what I think of this. 'Nothing to hide, nothing to fear'? Too much? MY OOMAN RITES?

by being in public you permit images of you to be taken. Although having all of reality on some sort of rewindable video, just in case, seems a bit 1984.
Although sometimes I think if tech were restricted to that in the book, we might actually be watched less.
Orwell didn't know the half of it.

I have a theory that technology is making crime fighters/security forces less effective at their jobs. There is that bit in the new Robocop where he pulls out a suspect from a crowd...if you're a regular doughnut eater whats the point after seeing that. It's all fine until the technology goes bonkers, gets hacked, gets abused and then you're stuck with 4 Lions like idiocy.
