We ended up going for a walk around the field behind the beach as it looked more fun.

"Climping Beach is a 79-acre biological Site of Special Scientific Interest. The eastern half is designated a Local Nature Reserve. This shoreline has sand dunes at the back with a vegetated shingle beach, which is a nationally uncommon habitat."

I'm struggling to find the name but there's a beach in Kent that's made up almost entirely of broken pottery and broken glass bottles partially covered in thick layers of rotting seaweed. Used to be where the London rubbish collections were dumped in Victorian times. Looks like a post-anthropocene devastation.

Probably a few Hertz horn contact mine MkII buried about.
I doubt anybody cared for this beach in 1919 either.

5 minutes after the shoulder to shoulder, standing room only hordes have left, after enjoying the "natural serenity".
Then again it makes a change from the typical western man's holiday in south east asia:
Blind drunk, sunburned, and unknowingly balls deep with a ladyboy
