This is a normal post I would've preferred it if they just axed the show altogether

This is a normal post Great
And I agree with the person who said 'bin the whole show'. A good magic show is always ruined when it's diluted with too much chit-chat, celebrity placement and audience-poll participation. Lenny Henry's never been funny and if i were Premier Inn, i'd seriously think about looking at that contract of theirs too.

This is a normal post All I'd want to see in 'a good magic show'.
is the acts coming on, doing their schtick, some applause, then the next act comes on, and repeat.

Preferably all doing close-up stuff, as i find all the 'making people disappear/get cut in two/change into an ostrich' bollocks to be idiotic.

This is a normal post Having said that
Penn and Teller's Fool Us was easily the best magic show I've seen in the last twenty years, probably because the chat was largely confined to how the act was performed.

This is a normal post "a good magic show" - contradiction in terms.
