Also, regarding your comment on the youtube page
It doesn't matter how well trained or 'happy' he is, that is NOT playing, that is guarding behaviour. Nice knowing you.

Top Notch
I had a Staffy that used to do exactly the same thing if you rubbed his fur the wrong way or kept your hand on his head for too long.
Used to scare the shite out of people who did'nt know he was a great big softy because his eyes used to glaze over until he looked like a rabid Gator.
Good times....

Me and my son discussed getting a staff or a rottie

But with socks! and if he saw you he would gobble it up really quickly and stare at you with an innocent face as if to say "what? i dont have anything in my mouth!"

If you think thats bad...
My dad once gave the dog a large bone from the butchers (possibly a lamb leg) with all the marrow etc.
The dog went mental on the stuff. was really quite scary.

Aye, I thought about posting the trailer for Zoltan, but it went on for days.
And it made me sad to see how a once-cherished film is actually pretty shit.

I do this to my labrador all the time
It's just a game - but like all games it can go too far. Best to keep your pinkies away from the back of the mouth - once those teeth scissor down the dog doesn't even know its really bit you until you're hopping around the house, nursing a bleeding hand.
