This is a link post Oh herro I made this!
We've been building a bridge made from giant Meccano. Some of you may have read about it in the newspapers. Well, I've been filming it's construction (and turning the odd bolt), so here's a video from the first day. I'll post more as I edit them.

And yes, the bridge is in Nob End.

Even the nuts and bolts are bespoke.

Same for lego, their patent expired about 20 years ago.

Also Meccano would love the publicity.

James may did a bridge a while back and got loads of free bits IIRC.
