This is a link post The judge is wrong
A taco is not a sandwich, it is a taco. To determine if something is a sandwich, you must follow the cube rule for sandwiches, where foods are defined by the location of the carbs. A taco has the carbs on the sides and bottom, therefore it is a taco. A hotdog is a taco. Carbs on the top and bottom are what defines a sandwich. A hamburger is a sandwich. Carbs on the bottom only is toast. Pizza is a form of toast. Carbs on the sides, and top and bottom, but not front and back, is sushi. enchiladas are sushi. Carbs on the bottom and all sides, but not the top, is quiche. A wrap is quiche. Carbs on all outside faces is calzone. Burritos are calzone. Multiple layers of carbs is cake. A big mac is cake.

But the legal definition or case law may be nonsense.

It's like software. Garbage in, garbage out. With added dementia and bribes (depending on jurisdiction)
