It was actually co-directed by an Aussie I used to work with called Hal Kirkland, he's in the video - top right box - dancing around.
He was a fairly junior art-director when I worked with him - he's definitely up there now..

Very good, inventive...
...but clearly not a load of webcam public performing on time - the quality is way too even (most webcams are terrible) and the timing to perfect.
But utterly brilliantly done, inventive.
