This is a chap demo'ing vista speech recognition for some programmers (speech recognition is fantastically bad at interpreting none natural language)
it's a long file, about 7 minutes, but just listening to the presenter's emotional state is comedy gold. (smug, nervous, shame, embarrassment, anger...acceptance)
You can tell he's trying so hard not to swear because he knows it's going to come up on the screen...

I like how he manages to avoid swearing yet it still writes 'fuck' at one point.

I remember IBM ViaVoice from way back when...
Speech recognition is never going work properly until we have computers that can actually run reasonable levels of AI so that it actually understands what you are trying to say.
It's quite good for a giggle though. I used to read out an opening line to a book, then just read back the garbage it had 'heard'. Then just keep doing that. It just generated more and more randomness, like Chinese whispers on crack.
Came out with some comedy gems though.

A prime example of technology making a simple task 10 times more complicated.

That was great, it makes me laugh or more.
I'm like you so much that I tried to myself.
George and the results.
