Well, I'm disappointed in all of you
this is but a moment in time, a snapshot. Not one of us knows the whole story, in fact, it is likley that the only two people that know the whole story is the cyclist and the driver, yet everyone sides with the cyclist. Cyclist's can and will be cunts too. I'm not saying you are wrong, just that it is possible. You'd jump on any old bandwagon passing by.

They side with the cyclist
Because the driver hurled racial abuse.

Dumbass.

Not so fuckin bright yourself, semen breath.

Your car,
was it?

Probably not insured either. Shame.

As I said in my post I didn't think it was right.
Just saw it as an amusing way for karma to restore itself. If the bloke hadn't been such a racist twat I would have felt more sorry for the driver of the car.

It occurred to me
sometime later, that I have heard of thieves using this method to steal cars.
Scrape down the side or start an argument, then when the driver gets out they drop the bike or have someone else standing by to steal the car.

I do get what you mean
I was replying to the following procession, and not trying to denigrate your post. Just to remind the hanger's on (in the spirit of the last qotw) sometimes, it's not what it looks like. I've learned some hard lessons and been accused a few times of some very serious shit, and it's taken a lot of time money and effort to prove my innocence. The short of it is,now I get very defensive when I see a bunch of people making up their minds with just one side of the story being told.

Nah, but I would jump in a racists Range Rover

I have a few issues with what some people call "racism"
By that , I mean, I think there are some double standards at work.
It seems that you can call someone a-
stupid cunt
fat cunt
skinny cunt
short cunt
tall cunt
white cunt
all of the above, substiting bitch for cunt
But prefix with the word "black", and the same people that will find sickipedia hilarious wil jump down your throat.
I tend to consider racism, as discriminating by way of believing or treating them as in some way inferior or less deserving than your own race.
Colour to myself is just an identifying feature, much the same way as the local transport regulators will want to know what colour your car is.
For example, I heard someone on the telly recently describe Oprah as a fat black bitch, no racism intended, just a statement of fact.

Dunno, I might be getting this wrong
but stupid/fat/skinny/short/tall/white people haven't really been subject to the same amount of discrimination over the past few hundred years. Just a thought.
(, Mon 20 Dec 2010, 9:11, closed)
I'm not sure how long it happened is relevant
I would never suggest that it ok to treat some as inferior just because of their race like the African slaves in America or islander slaves in Australia were treated. My point was soley that colour is frequently used in everyday life to identify everything around us,but is considered distasteful, should someone actually point out that the guy is black.

Dude
Your spouting nonsense, If I uttered the words, white cunt, that is racist. This isn't the 1st time i've heard you come out with an argument like this...It would be funny if you didn't believe it. I also like the way you have turned the story into the cyclists fault. Champion the racist driver because you believe that the ethnic probably was a thief anyway...Twat.
(, Mon 20 Dec 2010, 10:07, closed)
Nonsense?
if you read the post, I said it was a possibility that the driver was not at fault, generally I was suggesting that both sides of the argument be considered. Also I believe that the thief was not identified in the original post. You've tried to put words in my mouth. I seriously have the shits with people who play the racism card, but when the system favours them because of race, that's OK. White is a colour not a race, same with black. Fact.

1) You suggest that the driver, might not be at fault. Under what circumstance would the driver not be at fault? It seemed cut and dry. Even if the cyclist was a decoy for the thief, did the driver know this?

2) How can I be putting words in your mouth when you suggested yourself that he was possibly a decoy for the thief.

3) Both sides of the story? Why do we need to hear both sides when it's impossible to actually know why the driver was being racist.....Prehaps it was because he was a racist.

5) What does playing the race card have to do with what we are talking about here, in what scenario did the cyclist play the race card??

6)Species and race, learn the difference.

Sorry I couldn't let this go unanswered, I found your posts a bit bizzare. I have a feeling i'm wasting my time though.

I'm pretty sure
My dog is smarter than you. You are almost incoherent.
(, Tue 21 Dec 2010, 1:01, closed)
nah
I'd say you were pretty much right, his argument is totally flawed.
