More Abuses Documented.
It's not "Poym", it's Poem.
It's not "Fillum", it's Film...

I always type 'fillum' online just to see if anyone comments
but nobody ever does. In fact, I've noticed that others start doing it too.

Not an abuse
regional dialects and accents.

Precisely this.
Mrs Vagabond was still saying fillum and milluk when I met her. It's Irish, innit?

'Fillum' I can understand
As it's not too easy on the tongue, but 'milluk'? That's harder to say, in my opinion.

^Exactly this.
My folks both say fillum.

Yeah I love regional dialects...
feckin Edjit is a personal fave. I'm a scouser and we have some great ones... back in the 80s my mate had a breakdancing tracksuit made of tougher polyester I guess that was known as a 'plakky trakky' i think the shop advertised them, er, thusly.

I say fillum as a remnant of
my old man's highland accent. I love the fact that my 8 year old daughter says it as well.

If some miserable fucker ever tells her she's saying it wrong I hope she punches them on the nose.
