Okay, common rant on "workaholic" begs a question
I understand
Alcohol = alcoholic
So workaholic and sexaholic should require workahol and sexahol.
So with Rohypnol, can you be a Rohypnolic?

Er, no.
It *raises* a question.
"Begging the question" is a form of logical fallacy where the proposition to be proved is assumed to be true.

We-ll,
I'm not sure that just because a new word does not follow the root etymologically it is a bad or unclear expression. I teach English as a Foreign Language and my students always seem to 'get' and remember -oholic words(if I remember correctly it is not usually -aholic). To them it 'makes sense'. I think they work quite well.
