Cheese and Jam
Pretty simple really. A good strong cheese, raspberry jam, white bread. Layered appropriately as a sandwich. Eat.
Got me through some tough times.

You should.
But make sure it's with a cheese and a jam that you like.
also, there is a version of this which I call 'cheese cracker surprise'
Get cracker, put small dollop of jam on, then place slice of cheese over the jam. Place in microwave for 30 seconds. The eat.
I discovered this while drunk.

I'm glad I'm not the only one!
I usually add a bit of chilli sauce too, or just use chilli jam if I'm feeling particularly posh :)

good call with the chilli jam
that would work well with a crumbly cheshire cheese.

im sure ive seen something like this
on heston or something similar, Might have been River Cottage.
Apparantly the sharpness of the jam is tempered by the creamy cheese.

well that's made it sound very fancy
I just like how it tastes.
I mean, something about tempering and creamyness...

Chutney isn't a million miles from jam,
and brie with cranberry sauce is well known, so I suppose this isn't totally stupid.
It's still stupid, though.
