Agreed. Memory foam mattresses suck big time.Slept in a "friend"'s £££expensive memory bed a few times last year, damn thing gave me backache every time. When she tried my firmly sprung bed (Cost: free, ex-dead-old-lady), she said it was the most comfortable bed she'd ever slept in.

Same hereEx-girlfriend spent shitloads on a memory foam mattress (about £500) and recommended I should get one as it would be "good for your back". Damn thing crippled me and I could hardly feel my legs the next morning. Bought a decent sprung mattress for myself instead and it's ace!
