This is a question Fairgrounds, theme parks, circuses and carnivals

Tell us about the time the fairground came to town and you were sick in a hedge; or when you went to a theme park or circus and were sick in a hedge

This looks like a pice of piss....
Said I....

as we walked up to the The Steeplechase - Blackpool. - Possibly the only ride of its kind on the planet. Sitting on a mock horse which transports you in a juddery fashion around a'course' complete with 'hedges'.

Using nothing more than an old stretched seatbelt from an Austin Allegro to act as a restraint, I mounted the immitation horse and off I went...

Being somewhat slimmer than your average man - for the next 3 minutes, my coxis was going to take one hell of a beating. The start stop/jerking/accellorating/stopping was pure agony. They may as well just sent you Zorbing down a hill in a metal ball. And all the seatbelt did was make it difficult to get off the damn thing when it had finished.

Also - anyone been on the Rollercoaster in Great Yarmouth??

in the middle of the cart is a bloke sat on what looks like a bar stool smoking a hand rolled fag - operating the brake...

Length: about 4 feet above everyone else...

Similar thing in Blackpool, except without a harness. My arse cheeks have never clamped as tightly onto anything as they did to that metal horse. I'm sure they could've cracked a walnut.

The similar thing in Balckpool you refer to
was the same thing, hence why he said it was in blackpool.

You can add Blackpool's Space Mountain into the equation too...

A Waltzer in the dark....

I was vomiting out of every orafice...

Think there's a theme here to the safety of Blackpool.

I's a magic combination when 'thrill' combines with genuine fear.

One of those 'so shit it's good' rides!

great yarmouth roller coaster you say?
well reminds me of a terrifying incident that happened to the people in the car behind us on it .
as mentioned there is a mouth breather/tard/pikey that sits and acts as the brake man, while rolling joints and generally trying to get of with normal people . any way on this occasion it had been raining and the brakes are not the best even in the dry so when he applied them we came to a gradual stop and the people behind started to get out when there was a blood curdling scream and some one had picked up a splinter from the wooden side of the car, needles to say after that close brush with death that day i have stayed away from that roller coaster and now spend my time doing more family orientated activity's with my family like diffusing road side i e d 's
