This is a question B3TA fixes the world

Moon Monkey says: Turn into Jeremy Clarkson for a moment, and tell us about the things that are so obviously wrong with the world, and how they should be fixed. Extra points for ludicrous over-simplification, blatant mis-representation, and humourous knob-gags.

When I've just watched a film on television
I want to sit in the post-film afterglow and let the credits roll like in the cinema. I do not want the picture to suddenly be crushed into an unreadable five-inch corner of the screen and have the closing music cut so that some hysterically over-excited continuity announcer can start braying at the top of his lungs about how I can watch a repeat of Celebrity Big Brother next, or Embarrassing Teenage Bodies tomorrow night. If someone could arrange for the people responsible for this intrusion to be lined up and shot while I ruin their last moments on Earth by shouting about how they're going to miss tonight's repeat of Frasier, that would be lovely, thanks.

Credits on films
I *always* *always* watch the credits on films, even at the cinema(*).

Aside from knowing who brought the film to you, there are often some real gems tucked away.

(*) This particularly winds up my partner(**), who stands there trying to usher me out of my seat, looking at me as if was 'special'.

(**) Who later stands like an idiot while she tries to remember who was in a film she watched no more than a few hours ago ... "him with the hair - you know *him*?"

Yep, yep
I'm agreeing with this

YES
Watching the Fisher King on some satellite channel the other night, and this happened during the final shot! Film reduced to a postage stamp size window in the corner while the announcer talked over the last couple of lines of dialogue. Made me right furious it did.
