This is a question B3TA fixes the world

Moon Monkey says: Turn into Jeremy Clarkson for a moment, and tell us about the things that are so obviously wrong with the world, and how they should be fixed. Extra points for ludicrous over-simplification, blatant mis-representation, and humourous knob-gags.

Now Heathrow has added "family check-in desks"
it would be nice if they went the whole hog and added "family planes" too.

Coming back from Canada this year on a ten-hour overnight flight, the precious little darling behind me continued talking and kicking my seat for nine of them. Not even two sleeping pills and nine beers could knock me out. Then it fell asleep for the final hour, just as they opened the windows and bright sunlight filled the cabin, then screamed the place down when it was woken up to get off the plane.

Actually, fuck all that. Instead can I buy a ticket on "Smokers' Airlines" - over 18s only, and you can light up any time you like.

I'm reminded of an old Bill Hicks routine.

Plane windows don't open.
Silly you.

They might do
if you can smash the head of the annoying child in the seat behind you into it hard enough. "Fell asleep", yeah.

yes.
yes. yes. yes. yes. yes. yes. yes. and yes.

Bastard screaming kids with parents that have no right ever pushing a bin-lid out of their chuff doing sod all about it should either be thrown from the plane, or only allowed on a plane full of other twats that can't look after their kids, whilst we go on a plane that's for adults. With a smoking area.

Irritatingly enough, the air on planes was better when it still allowed smoking. Because then the airline was forced to clean the air rather than recycle the same old stale air all the time like they do now.

I am not a smoker but I would welcome the return of smoking to planes. Cleaner air win! And also, smokers would be less irritated nine hours into a thirteen hour flight because they have cravings..

I have no idea why parents don't stop their little shits from kicking other peoples' chairs.
