This is a question B3TA fixes the world

Moon Monkey says: Turn into Jeremy Clarkson for a moment, and tell us about the things that are so obviously wrong with the world, and how they should be fixed. Extra points for ludicrous over-simplification, blatant mis-representation, and humourous knob-gags.

Childless adults
should stop drinking in family-friendly pubs.

Pubs should not be, and should never have been allowed to be "family-friendly".

I dunno, kids can be quite amusing in pubs.
"Daddy why is Arsene Wenger a useless cunt?"
"Because he is Jimmy. Because he is."
"but last year you said he was a geni.."
"Don't confuse the argument with facts!"

*Clears throat*
I think the problem is, as you've touched on, poor parenting. Children should only be in pubs if they've been taught how to behave in pubs, and if their parents are responsible/sober enough to enforce that behaviour – no running around, no shouting, and no crying for a start.

I spent a lot of my childhood in pubs and really enjoyed it, and I knew if I acted up my dad would have me out of there and grounded at home in a fucking instant. Also, it serves you in good stead when you start going in pubs by yourself and getting pissed, as you're already comfortable with the decorum. Think how many sullen 18-, 19-, 20-year-old pricks you've seen embarrassing themselves after three pints cos they've no fucking clue how to behave. It's not just a young kids' thing ...

I'm with you
I have taken the time to teach my children how to behave in pubs, smoking outside, eatings cheating and if Dad's pissed his pants it's home time.

I was thinking more along the lines of eating lunch quietly, not moaning for more lemonade, taking yourself to the toilet, being polite to staff, and playing in the beer garden rather than the bar, but yours seem legit too.

You, nursing your pint for an evening,
won't keep the pub in business, so they've diversified, and make good money flogging crap food and overpriced soft drink to families.

It's your own fault.
