Traffic Warden & Troop switchAll the troops in Afghanistan need to come home and become traffic wardens. They would be much nicer to motorists because they are sane, reasonable people. Also who would argue with them ?
Send all the traffic wardens out to fight the Taliban. Job done.

I've never understood all this venom directed at traffic wardens.Some of them might be jobsworths (like the one i saw measuring someone's back bumper against the start of some double yellows) but on the whole, everyone i've ever heard moan about them has been parking where they shoudln't.
