This is a question B3TA fixes the world

Moon Monkey says: Turn into Jeremy Clarkson for a moment, and tell us about the things that are so obviously wrong with the world, and how they should be fixed. Extra points for ludicrous over-simplification, blatant mis-representation, and humourous knob-gags.

Space saving
Every bed in the NHS should be replaced with bunk beds thus doubling hospital capacities overnight.

Coupled with this all people requesting a burial funeral must be buried standing up to save space.

would make visiting hours interesting
and you wouldn't want a bunk below someone with the shits ;)

Except dysentry cases
I don't want to be underneath someone with explosive shits.

Another benefit would be to be on the lower bunk when the nurse goes up the ladder to the top one

I can't believe I didn't think of that.

It almost cancels out the disadvantage of leaky bottoms from above.

Just fit the top bunk with plastic sheets and a gutter all around the edge - problem solved

You've either not spent much time in hospital,
or you have some "specialist" sexual fetish.

They all wear bloody tracksuits these days.
Bring back short blue dresses with white aprons.

Maybe not so much for male nurses, though.

My father recently broke his arse falling out of a bunk bed when youth hostelling.
He's 73, FFS - you'd have thought he'd take the lower one, the bloody child.

Thinking about this,
you could instead have the ceilings in hospitals half as high, which would mean you could have twice as many floors.

I don't want to be buried upright!
Then when I rot away my skeleton will fall down. How will the archaeologists see the funny pose I'd pull if I fell down?!

You could always be buried upside down.

What pose were you planning on?
