1. I am a scientist. I do not play computer games.
2. Hoverboards* are really fucking easy to make. Google it. You can have a cordless one for about £100 if you put the work in, but it will only really work on smooth(ish) surfaces and probably won't go on water. Oh, and it will have no brakes.
*As in "minituarised personal hovercraft"
If I had something approaching a workshop here, I'd build you one for £250.

However, my comment was related to the recent protein thing that scientists had been unable to solve until it was released as a puzzle in a computer game and was subsequently solved within 10 weeks!
