Greedy felines
My family has a habit of feeding what we believe to be stray cats, only to find that they have a home to go to and are actually well looked after. The latest is a massive fat black and white beast who we have named Donald P Bellisario. We have fed him every night for 3 months. Last week we discovered that at least 6 other families have too.

We still do it though. :)

My cat used to visit an old lady up the road to be fed.
Because I don't put a collar on him and just have him tagged she thought he was stray. He would visit her and then come home for dinner to me. Greedy fecker.

Is it really the best thing to do to a cat, for lots of other people apart from it's owner to feed it? It's obviously not healthy for a cat to be massively fat, amusing as it is. Being overfed is not really being 'well looked after'. Some cats will just eat whatever's put in front of them whether they need to or not.
My girlfriend's cat is getting pretty large, though she only feeds it a reasonable amount, and the other day it sicked up some salmon that somebody else must have fed it. Not pretty.
