This is a question Pathological Liars

Friz writes, "I recently busted my mate who claimed to have 'supported the Kaiser Chiefs in 2001' by gently mentioning that they weren't even called that back then."

Some people seem to lead complete fantasy lives with lies stacked on lies stacked on more lies. Tell us about the ones you've met.

BTW, if any of you want to admit to making up all your QOTW stories, now would be a good time to do it.

Students (2)
Another student, another stupid plagiarist. Reasons for suspicion in this case:
1. Essay did not answer assigned question
2. Essay did not really have anything at all to do with the course
3. Essay's one and only footnote gave the URL of the website from which said essay had been cut and pasted.

D'uh, again.

I was chatting to someone in the year above me at uni.
There's a Chinese chap that has cheated on nearly every exam. What he does is write the answers in the white spaces in his Chinese-English dictionary. He apparently got caught once and only got a slapped wrist.

Apparently his other trick is to lurk round printers and steal peoples tutorial work.

That's a good trick

plagiarising gits
I've caught 3 plagiarists already this term. Two doing final year dissertations, one who plagiarised his entire MSc dissertation. I am not nice to plagiarists - my PhD supervisor plagiriased my work and published it as his own, many, many times over.

PhD Supervisors
That's the job of a PhD Supervisor. At least, that's what mine did. Repeatedly.
