Bigotry is just self-centredness
Ego-centric behaviour usually brought on by fear.

Racism, Sexism, critism, autism - same -ism which stands for I Seperate Myself - I'm better than you.

Most religion on the other hand is centred round alturism - thinking about others more than of yourself - the opposite of autism. . God's will is universally accepted as the antidote to too much self will, too much self centred behaviour. Doing "God's will" balances out man's ego essentially.

Therefore any bigots who claim to be religious who claim to do God's will have got it fundementally wrong. These type of people should be referred to as being self-rightious people rather than grouping them altogether with "religious people" because they are all about themselves, they may do a lot for charity but they sure as hell make sure you know about it.

Of course there are a few outright mental defectives who get it completely wrong and think that God is some vengeful judge. They should be pitied, because they know not what they do wrong. Luckily with freedom of speech you can spot them a mile off and we have things like the United Nations in place to wipe them off the face of the earth if they somehow come to power.
