Lost...Trying to impress a new girlfriend, I 'borrowed' my mother's car. Dropping her off in London, I managed to lose the car keys between locking it and reaching the other side of the road. Utter humiliation followed as my mum took the train to London with the spare key...

A child's gloveI spent days retracing our steps only to find it on top of a 4ft high wall, rather than on the floor where it had been dropped and where we'd been looking.
What kind of idiot would move it from the floor to a wall? Where's the logic in that?
