This is a question Old stuff I still know

Our Ginger Fuhrer says that he could still code up a simple game idea in Amstrad Basic, while I'm your man if you ever need to rebuild the suspension on an Austin Allegro (1750 Equipe version). This stuff doesn't leave your mind - tell us about obsolete talents you still have.

I do know my own mobile number, which is quite rare.
I remember when dialling a number actually meant using a dial that went "ugh urrgh"* each time you dialled a number.

*That's the number 2, if you wanted a zero, it went "ugh urrrrrrrghh"

I went to a boarding school, and there were five 'phones between about 700 of us.
Waaaaaay before mobile 'phones.

I reckon at any given time I'd probably have around 15-20 numbers in my head - my mum, my dad, my sisters, uncle & aunt, grandparents, and sundry mates and lots of girls - all of which I could recite instantly.

Now? I often have to use my mobile's address book to look up my home land-line number ...
