Ok, so now i'm pissed off.
I'm sitting in Madrid Barajas Airport.
I was ontime for my fight, but my flight wasn't ontime for me. It's 4 hours delayed...

Oh and did i mention it's stupid o'clock?

Easyjet. I hate them.

Edit: How is everyone this fine morning

And another one…
'Shark infested custard' - according to legend, in the early days of the web, searching for this would get you the hottest porn imaginable.

What I want to know is… when did it stop doping that and start doing this?

shrinkify.com/c0j

And what were the other search terms? Thats what I want to know.

Eggs - off topic or what?
Not how to cook them, but how to keep them.

They're sold from the shelf at room temperatures; but the customer has to keep them in the fridge.

Why?

My terrible evening.
Tonight I went to the cinema with a couple of my friends.
All good and well, you might think. You'd be very wrong.

In the car on the way back, I had the window open, and we went through a puddle, splashing filthy, stinking road-water into my mouth.
The problem is that this was far from the worst thing that happened to me tonight.
That's right, I saw Hellboy II at the cinema.

Whilst this heap of shite is slightly preferable to being forcibly violated in the mouth by a dog, it's still worse than getting dirty mud-water in your mouth.

In short, I give this film 2/10.

My spoiler free-ish rant follows:

Point 1: Guillermo del Toro, I understand that Pan's Labyrinth was a big film for you. You don't need to shoe-horn all of the reject monster-ideas from it into another, unrelated film.

Point 2: Giving away how to kill the main bad-guy in the first ten minutes of the the film is fuckin' stupid. What's more stupid is that none of the characters realised this. Fuckin' 'tards.

Point 3: Young Hellboy... Seriously, kill it with hammers.

Point 4: Elves? Goblins? Trolls? Come on... Just because Lord Of The Rings did well, doesn't mean you need to include them in this.

Point 5: Dialogue... Just because George Lucas has made a lot of money, doesn't mean that he's good at writing dialogue. So don't copy him. Ever.

So, 2/10. One point for half-decent CG. One point for Hellboy being cool-ish.

Minus two points for the singing. Yes, seriously. Singing.

So, if I was offered a chance to see this film again, I'd cram as much cooked fish as I could into my mouth.
The fact that I'm powerfully allergic to it would mean that I'd spend the next hour and a half puking myself inside-out, instead of watching this pile of monkey-wank again.

The Dark Knight
just got back. fuck me it's good.

comes to something when the worst part of a film is Christian Bale, and he was pretty good.

We lost a hell of an actor in Heath Ledger.

work
why is it that the day before you go away, when you have all your work planned out in nice neat to do lists that people will NOT STOP calling and emailing you?

and do people think that holidays cause more stress than they alleviate, what with the getting ready and the desk tidying and the file maintenance and the telling everyone you'll be away and the 32 sides of holiday notes....

*sobs and hyperventilates and sobs and hyperventilates and sobs and hyperventilates and sobs and hyperventilatesand sobs and hyperventilates and sobs and hyperventilates*

moon cups
Have many of us heard about this menstrual management technique and was it wrong of me to have been a bit freaked out when an ex girlfriend told me about it then disappeared for a few minutes and reappeared with slightly bloody fingernails and the item in question in her hand .

When I think of some of the things we did insert in each other a formable latex cup is no big deal but somehow it was a bit wrong.

Still , groovy way to help save the planet.

Length was never an issue , technique mattered

Then you can all slap me upside the head in real life! Woo.

Is there really 29 people going as it said on the calendar? If you're not going, why not! (Ex-pats excluded)

Oversized fluffeh
Okay, it might be a link to the Torygraph, but I couldn't resist posting this link to some fluffeh kittehs.

Slightly larger and grumpier than your everyday tabby, but imagine coming home to find this curled up on your sofa.

You might need a litter tray the size of a skip though.

Ireland Bash
I was thinking that a night out in lovely Dublin for all you B3tians in ireland (and of course anyone that was looking for an excuse to come to Dublin for a weekend) would be a rather pleasant. Anyone interested in just such an adventure?

To complete my bathroom
I am in need of some metal work done and if Mrs Vipros' dad can't do it I'm going to have to find somewhere else.

What I'm after is a plate of stainless steel (preferrably reasonably close to mirror finish) 1 or 2 mm thick, cut to a rectangle about 250mm by 150mm with rounded corners and with 2 holes cut in to my specification.

has anyone got any suggestions as to where I could get this?

morning morning
I'm feeling a bit bleurgh today, as last night was the work summer party. However, I discovered the most amazing hangover food this morning: a bottle of ginger beer, and a sweet-chilli and chicken wrap from boots. I have perked up 110% in the last 30 minutes.

What foodstuffs cure your hangovers?

Hedgehog update for anyone who wants to see
He's up to 150g from 100g twelve days ago, but needs to have surgical treatment tomorrow which he might not survive. It's worth continuing with treatment though as he's improved so much as you can see judging by how he gormandises his food.

b3ta has messed me up but good.
Thanks to you lot, I now chuckle when I hear them talking about "flange" with regards to piping. Someone just growled, "Screw the flange!" and I had to work hard to keep from laughing aloud...

Sucky Job
Anyone else ever started a job they just aren't happy with? What did you do?

I'm currently tearing my hair out at a new place. Can't put my finger on the exact problem, but I think it is a combination of unprofessionalism, lack of standards, lack of structure, and other stuff. Then again, I think is it just me?

Am I being silly this early in, or should I just get the f out?

the other night
we were discussing a news article about bees becoming less common and the potential for them disappearing entirely

someone asked the question "what would a world without bees be like?"

to which my friend Stacey replied "it would e loody awful"

I was the only one who found it funny. opinions?

Last night I drank too much wine and ate too much red meat
The result was that I was awake until 4am and had one question going around in my head.

I put this to you now in the hope that someone can come up with a plausible answer.

Humans and monkeys/apes all have hands which they use to feed themselves with.

That's because of a shared genetic ancestor.

So why do rodents eat like that too?
