Flat out today so just popping in.
Gig last night was OK. Good in a cinematic way, bad in a structured songs way. Nice projections. It went on too long and the audience were complete cunts: bunch of fucking student wankers. Loads of them were lying on the fucking floor with their eyes shut. This sort of behaviour is perfectly acceptable at a Hawkwind all-dayer if you are binned out your mind, but not in an East End concert hall high on nothing but mung beans and smug student coffee.
I stood on some beardy twat's hand by mistake.
Sample of overheard gibberish:
'Oh you MUST come to Leo's poetry night! It's soooooo inspirational. I think it's got to be the most inspirational poetry night in London'
But on the whole it wan't a bad night.

Something drug related suprisingly.

Oh my God, I think you're having a stroke! No, wait, no screaming Lord's Prayer.
What gig was it? It sounds utter shit.
Edit: You've fixed your tags...

I think the live experience was kind of unnecessary to be honest, it's 'headphones' music.

But I've never heard anything by them. I think I'll keep it that way, at least as far as live performances go.

but they're better than a lot of bands out there. This is not in itself hard to achieve, mind you.

Edit: Monty do you remember me commenting that your daughter looks a lot like my little sister (who is 6), the resemblance is compounded by her confiding in me that she doesn't really like having to go to ballet, because they play pop music there and she doesn't like that. I suspect milkman like behaviour

Anything is possible now, ANYTHING.
With the possible exception of a principled MP.

and there are some principled MPS, they just don't generally become anything more than backbenchers

during the supposed atmospheric buildup at the start, and was roundly scowled at and tutted at, to my delight.
The support act were abysmal: three tossers who looked like fat, beardy 'Mumford and Sons' members hitting all manner of waki home-made instruments. Had I needed to 'go', I would have hurled a shit in a sock at them and demanded they build a 'song cycle' around the sound of it hitting them in the face. Benders.
