I'd like to lose a bit more weight but that's already a work in progress. Come back next June for the full effect to be in place. It's already been going for quite a while, but I'm getting there. It's finding the opportunity to get out and exercise that's been the problem lately with all this snow.
Other than that, for my hair to stop turning grey. I'm twenty for christ's sake and the first few strands appeared when I was seventeen.
(I would like my back to fix itself, but that's not something anyone can do much about)

a bit of grey can be quite sexy - embrace it and for christ sakes don't start using just for men, it looks shit.

Goodnight lovely internet people

There's not much there, and you can only really see it when my hair lies in a certain way. What I don't want to happen is for lots of random streaks to appear all over. That would not be a good look.
I would think about dyeing it very very pale (which I think would work quite well) if I didn't have a gingery beard too.

It's pretty much better now, but I went through a period where I literally couldn't stand still for more than ten minutes at a time - even now I tend to pace a great deal rather than standing still, though it's only really out of habit these days.
The only time that injury bothers me now is if I have to spend a long time hunched over something which is very rare for me, so I'm not really fussed.
My back is hurting at the moment because of another unrelated but actually much more painful accident I had on Christmas eve. I tried to jump a 35ft ditch and... kind of didn't manage it.

Kind of twingey. It hurts more when I stretch one side, so sleeping was a bit awkward for the first few nights. I think I got about 40 minutes sleep between Christmas eve and Christmas day. Now it doesn't really hurt at all unless I forget and get up too fast or try to run or something silly. The amount it hurt at the time coupled with the way it's healed leads me to think I probably tore a muscle or two when I
Edit: I've had accidents from greater speeds and heights than this one, but this was by FAR the most painful at the time (way worse than breaking my toe, bruising my pelvis, subluxing my ankle and so on). Fortunately I don't have any bad signs (no numbness, tingling, reduced sensation etc.) that would suggest I've done something really serious.

That sounds really quite painful. I'm glad that I do nothing active whatsoever, it sounds like it might hurt.

It's been about 18 months since the last big crash (shredded most of my right arm) so I was sort of due one. You do get a few accidents from time to time, but all the good days more than make up for the occasional week spent limping. In Karmic terms this is probably the payback for the days spent on lovely sunny beaches in Scotland and Cornwall last year.

If I'm going to be anywhere in summer I'd prefer to be in a nice beer garden with minimal exertion and only a small risk of massive injury.

But you feel so much better if you can persuade yourself that you've done something to deserve the beer first ;)
For example, I spent large parts of this summer at beer festivals, but I cycled there.

Summer days are for lazing. Fact.
Although interestingly enough (I use the term loosely) I remembered something after I posted the last reply.
I've fallen over onto the same knee three times (at least) in the past month (all pissed) and now my knee still hurts and if I press it I can feel stuff moving which shouldn't move. So my theory about not doing myself permanent damage in a beer garden may require some revision.

Until this summer, when I took up cycling in order to lose a bit of weight. After a while I really started to enjoy it, and now I actually get quite fidgety if all I have to do in a day is laze about.
That said, I still don't like getting up before noon.

I just hate physical exercise. I'd rather be reading about things that interest me or writing. I've always been that way though, and I can't see it changing. I'm pathetically unhealthy.

With my eating and drinking habits, I'd end up looking like fat Al inside a year.
Anyway, off to bed now for some lazing about...
