so far my slow cooker beef stew has done 4 meals -
the first two with mash, the second two with noodles - and I've still got one, maybe two portions left. Worked out about £1.50 a meal - score!

Going to try chicken something next in the slow cooker, I reckon maybe a curry. Feel free to send me any slow cooker recipes.

Sounds good.
I hardly use my slow cooker, but Ma' uses hers every few days. It's great for curries. She generally puts some chicken drumsticks, half an onion, a carrot, some celory and some seasoning mix... then when she gets home from her adventures, she's got a nice meal waiting for her.

That's the ticket
for me it's both convenient - no waiting when I get home - and a useful way to make multiple meals. Since all my other pots and pans and bowls are "one portion" size.
