Hence next month I'll be starting a standing order into my holiday account. This month I'll be keeping as cheap as I can in order to pay off Christmas spending.

Say I'm looking at a £50 shirt or something like that, and I really want it, but am short, I phone up my ma' or a mate, and say "I've found a really nice shirt, it's £50, looks amazing, tell me I'm out of order if I buy it"... and 90% of the time, Ma' will say something like "Leave it 'till pay day"... or if it's an offer that is going to expire, she'll say "Remember XYZ bill".
She used to say "It's your money, you do what you want with it", so I would get it most of the time, but if it's something she knows I would quite-like but not really desire, she'll say "Leave it". Which is exactly what I want to hear (maybe not at the time to hear that, but in the long run).

I may have been inspired by the Big Bang Theory where the hot girl wanted to make an app where you could take a pic of someone's shoes and it'd tell you where to get them
