Do you have an annoying accent too K?
That is key to being Cole.

Alt: I don't know. I loved the time I spent travelling around Ireland, so maybe somewhere in Ireland.

Ireland would be my second choice.
I'm a celt at heart.

I'll be amazed if anyone chooses to relocate to Wales.

(, Thu 13 Jan 2011, 18:47, Reply)
Yup!

(, Thu 13 Jan 2011, 18:53, Reply)
Why the Hebrides?
I've never been there myself.
(, Thu 13 Jan 2011, 18:55, Reply)
It's a beautiful place and far away from the madding crowd.
I'd get a crofters cottage and keep some animals and paint and stuff.
(, Thu 13 Jan 2011, 18:57, Reply)
You'll be a horder.
If in your shed you've got animals and tins of paint.

Do you know Scotland well?

(, Thu 13 Jan 2011, 19:00, Reply)
Not at all.
But I know I'd love it.
(, Thu 13 Jan 2011, 19:04, Reply)
I'm trying to book a weekend
up there at the moment. I really want somewhere quiet and beautiful, preferably with a pub
(, Thu 13 Jan 2011, 19:08, Reply)
That would be great but I'd wait till the summer or autumn.

(, Thu 13 Jan 2011, 19:14, Reply)
I just need badly to get away

(, Thu 13 Jan 2011, 19:15, Reply)
surfbash?

(, Thu 13 Jan 2011, 19:20, Reply)
as long as it comes soon
I don't care where I go as long as it is reasonably scenic and not in England (rest of Britain is fine)

though I'd make an exception for surfbash
(, Thu 13 Jan 2011, 19:21, Reply)
I was going to suggest the lakes, since they're relatively easy to get to
But they're in england.. Perhaps you could get a cheap flight to Jersey or somewhere? It's probably easier than getting buses up to the middle of nowhere in scotland..
(, Thu 13 Jan 2011, 19:52, Reply)
I didn't think of the Lakes
there's probably some isolated bits there
(, Thu 13 Jan 2011, 19:59, Reply)
^ Very much this.
Scotland is beautiful but bad weather can make it unbearable.
(, Thu 13 Jan 2011, 19:16, Reply)
Hoots mon, there's a moose loose aboot this hoose.

(, Thu 13 Jan 2011, 19:19, Reply)
I don't have too much of an accent, until I get to drinkin'
then the southern drawl comes out
(, Thu 13 Jan 2011, 18:49, Reply)
Why would you choose Hawaii?

(, Thu 13 Jan 2011, 18:51, Reply)
because it's warm and tropical and doesn't require a passport

(, Thu 13 Jan 2011, 18:51, Reply)
But when you get round to getting your passport, the world will be your oyster.

(, Thu 13 Jan 2011, 18:52, Reply)
oh yeah, definitely, once I come up with the hundreds of dollars it requires to get on a plane and go somewhere
nevermind lodgings and food and my DOG
(, Thu 13 Jan 2011, 18:53, Reply)
Small details!
You're looking at the problems, not the solutions!

Get Echo a passport too!

Alright, now to solve the money issue
reckon I should start buying lottery tickets
(, Thu 13 Jan 2011, 19:03, Reply)
Or you could use the money you were thinking of spending on lottery tickets
and putting it in a savings account until you've enough to cover the cost of where you might want to go?
(, Thu 13 Jan 2011, 19:04, Reply)
the chance of that generating enough money for me to travel, would be about as helpful as me buying lottery tickets

(, Thu 13 Jan 2011, 19:07, Reply)
Well it would depend where you wanted to go and how long you wanted to travel for.

(, Thu 13 Jan 2011, 19:08, Reply)
for_ev_er
ah well, we can't have everything we want, right?
(, Thu 13 Jan 2011, 19:14, Reply)
And realistically?

(, Thu 13 Jan 2011, 19:15, Reply)
for the rest of my life
but that is unrealistic I s'pose

I don't want to live a posh lifestyle, I want to go to villages and meet people and see normal life.
(, Thu 13 Jan 2011, 19:26, Reply)
Depending on the countries you choose, it needn't be that expensive.
I've got a friend who travels a lot, he can survive on less than $10 a day in most of the places he like to go.
(, Thu 13 Jan 2011, 19:30, Reply)
I could do that.
I just need a kick in the arse to get it started.
