Painter?!
I don't have a favourite painter. I don't care about painters. There are some that are talented, sure, and some pieces of art that I like, but I don't have a favourite painter.
To put this into perspective for you Monty, what's your favourite video game design studio?

I would say Valve
but I'm fickle and they take too long.

Valve are consistently good, but do take their time
Mine's Looking Glass/Irrational Games, if only for System Shock 2 and the Bioshock games.

Fable disappointed me
As did 2. Not played 3 yet, but Molyneux has a tendency to hype the fuck out of his games, then say "oh, we had to take certain features out unfortunately". Why's that, Pete? Because they probably aren't fucking possible?!

I like Creative Assemblies
because Shogun is one of my favourite games of all time, as is Medieval II. Shogun II is out this year and it's giving me the excuse to break out my awesome Japanese kung fu bad guy voice.

Indy and the Last Crusade was utterly stupendous
that game gave me a great deal of enjoyment over many years.
I've just discovered that it was developed by Mindscape, after they were taken in by LucasArts. Mindscape were also responsible for my all time favourite game, Moonstone.

I'm pleased they released the special editions of the first two Monkey Islands
they were great.
The recent episodic Tales from MI weren't bad either.

that's why you needed a Cruiser
even when they did eventually break they could be fixed by using Lego and bits of eraser to hold the microswitches in place.
