Evening Bumders.
What are you doing?
(, Thu 20 Jan 2011, 20:32, 79 replies, latest was 15 years ago)
I was mortified this evening when Biscuit and Benji terrorized a poor old woman walking through the park, minding her own business.
Edit - Also for you.

Well that certainly makes me feel beautiful.

Also, how did Benji and Biscuit annoy the old woman? They didn't demand her pension did they?
(, Thu 20 Jan 2011, 20:55, Reply)
Biscuit shot off towards her, she's always the instigator, and Benji followed barking and menacing her.
It was getting dark and I think they were protecting me. I couldn't apologize enough : /
(, Thu 20 Jan 2011, 20:57, Reply)
Oww. They were protecting you?
Or were they trying to get away from you?
(, Thu 20 Jan 2011, 20:58, Reply)
They are very protective unfortunately.
Luckily they are all bark and no bite.
(, Thu 20 Jan 2011, 21:01, Reply)
Unless the old woman was on her way to a fancy dress party, dressed as Tufty.

Tell me more about the pizza.
Base and topping info requested.

tomato, cheese, pepperoni, unidentifiable meat lumps and chorizo (added by me)

is this enough information?
(, Thu 20 Jan 2011, 22:03, Reply)
That'll do.
I suppose.

Trying on a dress I bought on ebay
and discovering that I was far too ambitious in the sizing and it does not fit. Which is annoying, because it looks fucking stunning on. Since it doesn't fit anyway I am consoling myself with chocolate.
(, Thu 20 Jan 2011, 21:12, Reply)
Haha!
I got a lovely jacket in the sales from Next. It's maternity! *laughs*
(, Thu 20 Jan 2011, 21:14, Reply)
I always do that with jeans in the sale
*rummage rummage* Oooh! they're ni - oh. Stretchy bits. Fuck it *tries them on anyway*
(, Thu 20 Jan 2011, 21:18, Reply)
There's a jacket I'm looking at on eBay.
It's a women's one though, it's exactly the same as the men's version except the size. I've been after it for yonks but I dunno whether to risk £80 for it to turn up and be tiny. It's a size 12 and I have no idea what that means.
(, Thu 20 Jan 2011, 21:15, Reply)
It means you need to eat more pies.
Sensible answer would be find a girl who is a size 12 and try their jacket on.
(, Thu 20 Jan 2011, 21:15, Reply)
Thats an M for women
so probably a S for blokes? Can you not go to the manufacturers website and look at the sizing? Everywhere I buy clothes from has a size guide somewhere on the site...
(, Thu 20 Jan 2011, 21:17, Reply)
If it equates to a small men's that's ace cos that's me that is.
I've got the measurements off the seller just this second and I *think* I might just be okay. I'm gonna get it and if it doesn't fit buy a corset/gaffa tape my belly in.
(, Thu 20 Jan 2011, 21:24, Reply)
Baz.
Honestly, do you NEED any more jackets?
(, Thu 20 Jan 2011, 21:37, Reply)
I don't need any more dresses
I still bought one. I suspect Baz still has more clothes than I do though...

I went out last night.

Made any soup this week?
(, Thu 20 Jan 2011, 21:49, Reply)

I shall be making winter vegetable and smoked sausage at the weekend for lunches next week.
Good night?
(, Thu 20 Jan 2011, 21:51, Reply)
It was fun.
Didn't drink much, good company and had a laugh.

So that was nice.

Made any cakes this week?
(, Thu 20 Jan 2011, 21:54, Reply)
Nope

Looking forward to MontStock?

Yes, I am
I'd just be sitting alone in my flat eating cold takeaway pizza and moping, and instead I'm going to see some awesome people from the internet and eat tasty tasty curry and possibly get drunk.

Have fun!
Did you finish watching that gypsy wedding thing the other night?
(, Thu 20 Jan 2011, 22:05, Reply)
I intend to :)
and yes, against my better judgment I did. I counted my blessings afterwards, mind.

One of the bands?
(, Thu 20 Jan 2011, 22:34, Reply)
Tron is a film
films have soundtracks. They can be played on their own, not just with a film, and you can listen to them. Amazing, eh?
(, Thu 20 Jan 2011, 22:18, Reply)
I'm aware of that.
But I've never seen the point of owing a film soundtrack.

How many track on the soundtrack actually feature in the film?
(, Thu 20 Jan 2011, 22:33, Reply)
It's pretty good actually
it was scored by Daft Punk and is interestingly electro/synth. And I didn't buy it, I downloaded it. Surely all the songs in the film are on the soundtrack, isn't that what a soundtrack IS?
(, Thu 20 Jan 2011, 22:40, Reply)
How many track are there on the album? 13? 15?
How many times are you going to hear a song in the film?
(, Thu 20 Jan 2011, 22:44, Reply)
You hear each song once, I believe
I can remember which bits of the film match which songs.
(, Thu 20 Jan 2011, 22:48, Reply)
Thus making it a marketing exercise.
Rather than a music experience!
(, Thu 20 Jan 2011, 22:50, Reply)
Oh shush
it's not besieging your ears so you've no cause for complaint.
(, Thu 20 Jan 2011, 22:53, Reply)

But then I love pounding bass lines.

but I think my favourite is 'End of Line'. Also, Michael Sheen is a bloody mentalist.

(, Thu 20 Jan 2011, 22:54, Reply)
Pounding implies I'm the giver
I don't have a problem with that if the receiver is female and willing.
(, Thu 20 Jan 2011, 22:56, Reply)
I know what it implies
but I can still think of a number of things wrong about anal.
(, Thu 20 Jan 2011, 22:59, Reply)
Eh, I'm alright with it
I know people have their reservations though.
(, Thu 20 Jan 2011, 22:59, Reply)

each to their own. You might change your mind if you were expected to be the receiver though!

but am I to assume from that statement that you've got an anus like a tuba? :P
(, Thu 20 Jan 2011, 23:09, Reply)
