I need some help with a conspiracy theory, so where better than the home of nutjobbs.
Why the shuddering fuck are the police being so reticent in the phone hacking case. Namely doing there damndest to keep the targets of phone hacking secret. There's a can of worms here somewhere just don't know what it is.

Because the Metropolitan Police have always had a cosy relationship with The News Of The World.
NOTW hacks write stories with police-positive spin, serving and ex-officers provide them with tip-offs about busts about to happen so that they get exclusive scoops etc.
Private Eye did a very good piece about it before xmas.

What I'd like to know
is why the likes of Gordon Brown have the effrontery to get his knickers in a twist when it was his government which rushed through the digital economy bill and intrusive legislature. The hypocritical, bung eyed cunt.
