I just didn't enjoy it, found it very dull
This was made worse by everyone else fawning over how 'amazing' it is. I feel the same about Fight Club too.

given my love of sci fi and cyberpunk
I have to admit to being underwhelmed when I first saw The Matrix. There were some cool effects, but the story was nothing that hadn't been done in books for years before.

I actually saw Serenity before Firefly, supposedly that ruins it, but I'm not fussed!

Firefly LARP? To each their own, I suppose. Although, I was watching Castle recently, it had Nathan Fillion dress up as a 'Space Cowboy' for Hallowe'en, before his daughter turns to him and says "Come on Dad, didn't you do that about 5 years ago?" Made me chuckle.

but apparently it's good. It's not so much based on the show as on the world the show/film is set in. I have a ship and crew planned and everything. One day I'll get round to it
