You are one of the loveliest people I know.
Crow I've not had a drink in so long and last night I really wanted wine. Do I do a Victorian lady and retire to bed with a bottle of wine? At 3pm in the afternoon?

this
I cannot imagine being in bed with a bottle of wine. I'd be out of it and dancing all over the place by the time it was half empty.

YES
I'm trying to recover from drink. Went to factory last night. I was the only girl that went out so all the lads bought me drinks. I was still drunk when I went for a meeting with my tutor this morning.

Didn't get my tits out this time though.

My Russki friend is down in London though, I will try and get in contact and get smashed with him at some point in the next few days.

Hmm...approximately how long is it since you had a drink?
(If tlast_drink≥ 48hrs then you're doing better than me...)

I wouldn't recommend lying in bed with a bottle of wine as you'll likely get drunk, sleep badly and wake up at a strange hour the following morning in a confused and possibly irritable mood. I wouldn't discourage wine, but I'd get up first. And maybe leave it a couple of hours, until such time as you can justify on the grounds that you're "just having a drink while you cook dinner.*"

* /is possibly how I justify it to myself.

Last time I got drunk was Knights Night.
I managed to drink in moderation (i.e. didn't get pissed) at the lolbash. As for the sleeping, I'm sleeping way too much at the moment. Considering getting up and going for a run, but I can't bring myself to move.

I will probably go to Morrisons in about an hour to get something for dinner, so I'll hover around the mixers aisle and maybe have some GIN.

But I agree with AB and Sportscow.

iI you want to feel 'really Victorian' substitute the wine for laudanum...
...and stay in bed until it runs out.

Unless someone tempts me out or gets in with me
I'm not leaving for a while.
