Being I am a man of simple pleasures
and had a monumentally shit day at work yesterday, today is already better. On arrival at work I was greeted by freshly made coffee, 11 donuts for our office and a delivery of pasties (our office forfeit) for everyone too

I'm loving this at the moment - it turned up on my iPod in the car this morning and made me sing along stupidly loud!

I am so shallow
that I dislike Pearl Jam despite never having heard a note they played, on the grounds that
a) their name sounds gay and
b) I don't like the look of their singer or his name

you are indeed, incredibly shallow.

It's true.

I don't like Pearl Jam because they bore me.
But I still think that's a bit of an odd reason not to listen to them.

I have no interest whatsoever in the 'Seattle scene',
bunch of fucking woe-is-me benders. I don't need to hear another example of them: not for me at all.

Each to their own

Quite so.

I find all 'grunge' fucking dull.
That goes double for Nirvana.
