to be honest, the camera was the least of the selling points for meI mean, I have a camera. Why would I need the shitty camera that comes with the DSi? It's not like you can print them out or anything.
If they can hang on, I would wait till March when the 3DS comes out. It will supercede the DSi, which will then drop in price the way that the DSL did when the DSi was released.
If they can't wait that long, buy a cheap DSL from Game or Gamestation, which you can trade in later when you do upgrade.

I agree the camera is probably shite......but the kids want to have it to share pictures with their friends. (and Pete Townsend)
