Unblocking the bathroom sink, as I'll have to take the U-bend apart and fish out all the gunk.I've got some plugs for my nose, but that rotten-egg smell is already stinking the out bathroom. It will not be a pleasant job.

It's taking the sink 16 hours to drain at the moment.Also, it's mostly old hair and greb - you'd need something like Magic Acid to shift it in reasonable time.

Nah, you can get some decent drain unblockers from the supermarketor failing that, you can buy this drain unclogging stuff which is 98% sulphuric acid from B&Q...
