I refuse to get on a set of scales - there's only so much shock and awe I can take!
But every so often nothing seems to fit or I see a photo of myself and think "Shit! Who is that fat bint?!"
Then I eat less for about ten minutes or so...until I think, 'life is short and chocolate and wine taste good'.

I'll never be thin.

This is why I do not own scales
I got all arsey and OCD about it, and realised I had to throw them away when I was trying to work out what I'd shat in grams.
It's much nicer to go to Boots once a month/6 weeks and go, 'ooh, I've lost 3lb!'.

I'm quite good at staying off them.
I was just curious. THe trouble is I've put weight on with muscle but it's still shit seeing it on the scales.

If your clothes fit and you can walk or run where you need to go without passing out then you're probably fine.
I don't think many of us are happy with our physical appearance but mostly we're stuck with it :(

I bet if you look back at old photos of yourself you're amazed at how gorgeous you were, yet at the time you thought differently....

We're all so screwed up :(

The last time I was thin was just after I split up with the farmer
and I was quite unhinged. I looked great but I was as mad as a beard on a madman.

more hysterical laughing followed by tears and then sleeping with inappropriate (and sometimes dangerous) men. Bad, bad behaviour. No drugs though. Plenty of alcohol and risky business though...
