poor grammar irritates me intensely
but esp apostrophes, because they are so fucking easy! ' denotes possession NOT plurals, with the exception of it and who. it can also be used to denote a diminutive, like CD's. or indeed it's or who's.

ffs how hard can it be to get that right? fish and chip's my arse!

Is that a euphamism
for some kind of bizarre sexual practice?

My favourite shop sign spelling fail
was the 'adult emporium' on Tottenham Court Road that apparently offered 'marital aides'. Although to be fair, I never did check whether you could hire a guy to suck his teeth, offer tips on technique and shout encouragement so for all I know it could have been perfectly accurate.

"Yes, that's good, go steady now. Not too rough...
No, no, that's her knee!
What?
Well, don't sniff it then!"

Tch.
That'll never work mate, your thighs are too short.

To be fair
it can't really be used in CDs either. Because it would be an inaccurate diminutive, the accurate on being C'D's. CD, like TV, is an accepted abbreviation and as such doesn't need an apostrophe on its plural. But, that's a bit grey.
