best place in the uk - totally depends how old you are and what you like to do! london has been brilliant for me and i've made the most of being kensington girl about town, but at some point i will be nailing my high heels to the wall and returning to a beautiful cottage up in beautiful cheshire.
best restaurant - argh that's hard. i do love "the old bore" in ripponden, amazing pub. esp their lemon curd and jammy dodger ice cream.
