because I can allow myself to enjoy things.
it was entertaining and reasonably well made. There were some moments of comedy violence and gore.

I enjoy lots of things. Really fucking shit Scandinavian films aren't one of them.

You should embrace you silly side more often Monty.

I think that's why I liked it
because it is silly.

There's little point in arguing with Monty about this sort of thing. It's like arguing with him about playing games.

being Scandinavian had nothing to do with it.
and it was considerably better than a lot of films.

I'm easily pleased when it comes to film. I enjoy a great film as much as anyone, but am quite content to watch pretty much anything.

that aside, it's a zombie film, and if it has zombies or vampires in it then chances are I'll enjoy it. Excluding Twilight, which I have not watched.

....because you think the films will never equal the books, which you think are BRILLIANT.

god, even I haven't read the Twilight books
and I will unashamedly read any old shit. I've read most of Anne Rice's books and James Patterson and Harry Potter, but even I draw the line at reading Twilight.

Some of those Anne Rice books werre OK I thought.

(, Mon 28 Feb 2011, 14:13, Reply)
the first few were ok
and then some vampire-paedo-bumderism crept in, which put me off a bit.

then there was the one with Lestat going back in time and drinking Jesus' blood or something....
(, Mon 28 Feb 2011, 14:16, Reply)
Did Jesus become a vampire?

(, Mon 28 Feb 2011, 14:17, Reply)
don't be silly
he would have had to have drunk some of Lestat's blood for that to happen

duh
(, Mon 28 Feb 2011, 14:17, Reply)
oh sorry my vampire knowledge obviously isn't up to par

I read them all and they did get a bit strange towards the end.

(, Mon 28 Feb 2011, 14:17, Reply)
It was better than 'Police Academy 9' I suppose.

I've bought the first Shardlake book to read after I've finished Wolf Hall.
