pah, I've had mine done twice in the last 8 years
once by a mate and once at a hairdressers (while all the old ladies their were incredulous that I didn't do anything with my hair). Having hair cut is dull

I've gone to the same gal for 13 years.
I'm grumpy when I need it trimming. Feels all wolfy.
It's ok when you have long hair, because you can tie it up, but short hair has to keep its shape.

it just falls out of a pony tail or plait really quickly
and ends up looking even more scruffy
