How is cooking going?
(, Sun 13 Mar 2011, 1:02, Reply)
Haven't cooked at all I'm afraid
Been so tired. It's been a long few months. I have steak in the fridge but I think it's gone off :(
(, Sun 13 Mar 2011, 1:04, Reply)
you get a couple of days grace on meat
because they're so worried about being sued they put the dates early. About a week on veg and infinity on preserves.
(, Sun 13 Mar 2011, 1:07, Reply)
^ This.
And the longer that meat is (properly) stored for, the better it tastes.
(, Sun 13 Mar 2011, 1:09, Reply)
My steak this evening was going a touch brown at one end
3 minutes either side, no problems.
(, Sun 13 Mar 2011, 1:10, Reply)
I'm doing steak tomorrow.
How long did you soak your steak in Lea and Perrins for'?
(, Sun 13 Mar 2011, 1:11, Reply)

30 would have been better but I HUNGERED FOR FLESH.

(, Sun 13 Mar 2011, 1:16, Reply)

(, Sun 13 Mar 2011, 1:17, Reply)
I can't find the frying pan I bought

(, Sun 13 Mar 2011, 1:18, Reply)
Grill it 4 minutes either side
The key is to rest it warm for 5+ minutes to allow cooking to continue.
(, Sun 13 Mar 2011, 1:20, Reply)
Okay then
I might pop out in half an hour and stick the oven to pre-heat
(, Sun 13 Mar 2011, 1:24, Reply)
well
I do mine in the pan but then it sits in a warm (not hot) oven for 5-7 minutes while I do veg.

(, Sun 13 Mar 2011, 1:03, Reply)
fair to middling
poker was cancelled so I've stayed in and done my own thing. Arsenal lost which means our match next weekend goes ahead.

You?
(, Sun 13 Mar 2011, 1:06, Reply)
My lot play on Monday (on Sky if you subscribe)
I'm spannered, I was holding it together quite well until about 15 minutes ago.

Who do you fancy for Prem relegation this season, based on recent results?
(, Sun 13 Mar 2011, 1:10, Reply)
crazy season
could be any from eight. My gut says West Ham, Wigan and Blackpool, if they get more than one first team injury, Wolves otherwise. Blackpool don't have the squad depth but they do have team spirit.
(, Sun 13 Mar 2011, 1:17, Reply)
As much as I hate that cunt that is Holloway, I'd like to see Blackpool stay up.
I can see Wolves getting dragged into it.

I think your lot will be okay (this season) before another yo-yo-ing exploit, and then West Brom being a banner for 'how a club should be run' banner being hung over you and establishment in the prem.
(, Sun 13 Mar 2011, 1:23, Reply)
we get that a lot now
given that we run a profit. To be honest I don't mind our seasons in the Championship, it's always good watching your team hammer the opposition every week.
(, Sun 13 Mar 2011, 1:27, Reply)
Unless you head West!
I'm sure we did the double over you a few years back, in one of your promotion seasons!
(, Sun 13 Mar 2011, 1:29, Reply)
Sure, let's say that
Doesn't ring a bell with me. I do remember tonking Bristol Rovers 5-1 in a cup, because we did the same to Coventry in the next round. But City beating us? Sounds unlikely.

Googling:
www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/feb/21/bristol-city-west-bromwich-championship

That's the return fixture, we beat you 4-1 in November - www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/west-bromwich-albion/6624746/West-Bromwich-Albion-4-Bristol-City-1-match-report.html

and they dubbed her voice with a proper 'Carwash' american black ho.
WHY?
Against All Odds, Easy Lover, Separate Lives. Can't decide.
